Tejon Ranch Conservancy, in conjunction with the UC Cooperative Extension, is offering its fourth California Naturalist certificate class!  This course will explore the unique ecology and natural history of California with an emphasis on Tejon Ranch.  The program will meet on five weeknights (6-8:30pm) and six Saturdays (9am-4pm) starting September 2016.   The course will use The California Naturalist Handbook, expert lecturers, field trips and project based learning to immerse you in the natural world.  Classes will be held at the Frazier Park Library and field trips will be on Tejon Ranch. This course will cover basic ecology, watershed concepts, geology, wildlife, plants, and global environmental issues, as well as tools for collaborative conservation and communication.
